What: Now recruiting men and women ages 18-80 for a gut health study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of a daily supplementation drink on gastrointestinal health. Why? Technology breakthroughs in the past decade have revealed new discoveries of the gut microbiome being connected with immune activity, obesity, inflammation, aging, frailty, and much more*. Continued research is needed to understand the microbiome and overall health connections.
Participation involves: Attending a 10 minute in-person or virtual meeting / drinking a scoop of the powdered product with water or juice once a day for 60 days / providing a stool sample at the beginning and end of the study with the provided kit.
Compensation: You will be compensated 2 gut microbiome lab tests for completing the study (valued at $500). You will receive the test results within 5-10 business days after Franklin Health Research receives the lab reports.
Who can join?
Women and men, ages 18-80
Living in the United States.
Attending a 10-minute, in-person or virtual meeting with a research team member
Drinking a scoop of the powdered product with water or juice once a day for 60 days
Providing a stool sample with the provided kit at the beginning and end of the study
Answering email check-ins on day 15, 30, and 45. Completing surveys at the beginning & end of the study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of a daily prebiotic and fiber drink on gastrointestinal health. The protocol for this trial was developed by a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and has been evaluated and approved by an independent third-party ethical review board which is accredited by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP). It is conducted in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki, the Belmont Report, the regulations outlined in 45 CFR 46, and ICH GCP E6 (R2). The protocol is also registered at a World Health Organization (WHO) approved clinical trial registry.
